As President at Carson Group, Teri focuses on improving efficiency and the long-term vision of the company, translating that vision into an actionable strategy and tangible properties that get us there.

In addition to strategic planning and development, Teri removes obstacles, so the company and our partner firms are positioned to thrive and grow. She focuses on financial forecasting and analysis as well as continuous improvements to optimize the client experience. She leads the operations, technology, compliance and legal teams that oversee more than 95 advisor firm locations.

Teri led the development of Carson Group’s Digital Client Experience platform. The platform accounted for a 40% productivity increase by advisors in 2017 because of her ability to draw in a management team comprised of strong leaders. Since Teri came on board, partner firms using the platform have, on average, increased their AUM by 26.67% annually.

Teri has been recognized by multiple publications, most notably as a “Top Woman in Asset Management” by Financial Planning in 2018 and by Midlands Business Journal as a “40 Under 40 Business Executive.”

Teri was the first woman executive to join the Carson Group team. Prior to joining the Carson Group team, Teri previously held the position of Executive VP, CFO and COO at an independent Broker/Dealer, RIA and insurance company for 10 years as well as the Corporate Controller of a publicly-traded biotech firm for two years. She graduated from the University of Nebraska –Kearney with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. 

Teri loves to spend time with her husband, Glen, and three sons. She and her family enjoy camping, water ski and play sports.
