Another year, another Excell in the books. And Excell 2022 may have been the best edition yet, with inspiring keynote speakers like soccer star Abby Wambach and poet Tucker Bryant; insights delivered by industry thought leaders like Carson Group Founder and CEO Ron Carson and the “Wolfette of Wall Street” Lauren Simmons; and a poolside party to close things out.

But if you couldn’t make it to Las Vegas for this year’s Excell and still haven’t shaken the lingering FOMO – or you just want to relive the experience – you’re in luck. Read on to experience the sights and sounds from the Cosmopolitan that made Excell 2022 so special.

Mastery on the Mainstage

Abby, Tucker, Ron and Lauren were just some of the big names to take the mainstage at Excell. Our video highlights our keynote speakers and their fresh perspectives.

The View from the Crowd

If there’s one thing we’ve learned these past few years, it’s that the virtual conference experience just can’t stack up to connecting in-person. Nothing compares with sharing laughs, applause and insights with your fellow conference-goers.

The Scratch of a Pen

Our keynote speakers weren’t the only ones taking the stage. Our breakout sessions offered plenty of takeaways worth jotting down, covering topics like internal succession planning, macro market trends, mental health and more.

Camaraderie in the Community Hub

With more than 1,000 advisors in attendance, Excell is more than just a conference – it’s a community. From “focus” breakfasts to sharing a coffee in the Excell bookstore, there was no shortage of opportunities to build meaningful relationships.

Exploring the Expo Hall

With more than 60 vendor booths to visit, the Excell Expo Hall was the perfect place to score some swag – or even a new solution to one of your firm’s hurdles.

Your Favorite Podcast

The Community Hub was also home to several live podcast recordings, including from Carson’s Framework podcast – subscribe for upcoming episodes featuring some of Excell’s keynote speakers!

The Tops in Tech

Excell gave us an opportunity to recognize some outstanding fintech innovators with our Advisor Tech Awards. Congrats again to our winners: Asset Map(Biggest Disruptor), Ycharts (Best Value) and Envestnet (Best in Show).

A Poolside Party

We closed Excell out in style, with a poolside party at the Cosmo that featured live music, a few Vegas performers and the neon lights of The Strip.

The Small Touches

Whether it was custom bobbleheads, the Vegas weather or an unexpected connection with another attendee, there are countless little things that add up to make Excell the one-of-a-kind experience it is.

Don’t Miss Out Next Year

As fun as it might be to read about the sights and sounds from Excell, there’s nothing like the real thing. Experience it for the first time – or all over again – by registering for next year’s conference in Nashville, Tennessee. We’ll still have everything that makes Excell special, from the big-name speakers to the networking opportunities to the countless intangibles, at our new home base.
