Last week, Scott Conroy joined our Carson Executive Team as Managing Partner of Strategic Relationships. His primary goal is to develop a Relationship Management team to support the organic and inorganic growth efforts of all the strategic partners within Carson Institutional Alliance. He also focuses on expanding and executing our approach to the custodian referral programs to capitalize on the opportunity within the retail branches of our Custodial Partners, TD Ameritrade and Fidelity.

“Aligning yourself with key strategic partners is crucial to staying competitive in our profession. Scott is someone who shares this belief as he will build and manage relationships both internally and externally for Carson Institutional Alliance. We are excited for the impact he will have on our Executive Team and the overall growth of our firm,” said Ron Carson, Founder and CEO.

Prior to joining the Carson team, Scott spent five years at LPL Financial and served as the Senior Vice President of the LPL RIA Platform. In this role, he was focused on the continued development of the LPL RIA Custody Platform and acted as internal and external RIA advocate to build awareness about the RIA marketplace and LPL’s offering. He worked closely with the LPL Business Development and Business Consulting teams to engage in prospect discovery, and helped accelerate the sales cycle to close new RIA business and support the over 4,800 advisors on the LPL RIA platform. During his tenure, the RIA platform grew from $50B in AUM to over $150B.

“Scott will play an integral role in ensuring our partner offices leverage the holistic value Carson Institutional brings to our advisors,” Aaron Schaben, Managing Partner, said.
