Carson Adds Experienced M&A Expert, Alex Rodawig, to Further Strengthen Advisor Recruiting and Help Firms Make the Move to Independence

Posted on February 7, 2019

Omaha, NE – February 7, 2019 Carson,a family of companies committed to being the most trusted for financial advice and guidance via service to both advisors and investors, today announced the newest hire to its executive consulting team, Alex Rodawig, who will serve as Vice President of Executive Business Consulting.

Mr. Rodawig joins the Carson team to help guide and educate advisors through the process of considering a move to Carson Partners. He’ll become a primary resource for advisors seeking a stable platform for transition to independence – before, during, and after the advisor’s move. Another focus area of his will be to help provide the innovative solutions advisors need to focus more on their clients during such a transformation, how to more efficiently run their business, and, perhaps most importantly, be an advocate for helping advisors understand how to gain revenue growth during such a demanding phase in their business.

“There were three words that grabbed my attention when exploring the opportunity with Carson,” said Mr. Rodawig. “Simplicity, innovation, and trust. I connected with Carson’s mission to make the complex simple for advisors and clients, and I could see how the firm is constantly striving for innovation in everything that we do for our partners, clients, and stakeholders. Building trust is such a core principle of any organization I want to be a part of, and the forward-thinking culture of people here couldn’t be more focused on these core values.”

With over thirty years of industry experience, Alex brings a wide variety of financial services and private business expertise to the Carson team. For the last seven years, Mr. Rodawig was the Managing Partner and Owner of a private apparel manufacturing company with operations in the United States, Mexico, and Nicaragua, serving approximately 5,000 employees. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President and National Director of Brokerage for Wells Fargo Private Bank for eleven years. He led consulting programs for Senior Financial Advisors and Regional Brokerage Managers to grow their businesses and improve overall effectiveness and productivity. He also served as Senior Director of Brokerage, leading a multi-state region of Regional Brokerage Managers, Financial Advisors, and Licensed Bankers.

Mr. Rodawig is yet another key addition for Carson Group, as the firm continues to build out its support team and resources for advisors seeking independence and the ability to completely operate their business on their terms. His experience in particular opens the door for more conversations with wirehouse advisors, as they struggle with tarnished institutional reputations and knowing they can take control of their client experiences while owning their own business.

“I hope advisors see what we’re doing here – that we’re putting our time, energy, and focus on their growth,” said Aaron Schaben, Executive Vice President of Carson Group. “With the addition of Alex to our team, we are strengthening our ability to provide advisors experienced leaders who can help them to look at their business differently and provide renewed focus to better serve their clients.”
