In today’s episode of Framework, Jamie talks with Angela Ribuffo, a financial services advisor based in Anchorage. Angela is the President and Financial Advisor at Raion Financial Strategies and has a long, accomplished history that includes serving in the Air Force and as the former president of Women in Financial Services (WIFS).

Angela talks with Jamie about being a woman in the financial industry, how she gives back to other women in the financial planning world, and how the industry can attract and retain more women. She also shares how her past experiences have shaped her perspective and skill set.

“Women need to learn how to be better sponsors and advocates for each other. I think that we do a great job mentoring because that’s just inherent in our nature to be great at nurturing others. But we’re not very good at sponsorship and advocacy. I think that we need to do that for each other – advocate and sponsor women so that they can see what those next levels are. And they can aspire to move up the leadership ladder so that they can bring on more women and advocate for them as well. ” ~ Angela Ribuffo
